FINAL UPDATE:
Shortly before 5:30 PM today, June 22nd, 2010, a one-vehicle rollover crash occurred westbound on I84 between Gowen Rd. and Broadway Ave. which resulted in blockage of the westbound lanes. Kristin Bolos, age 40 of Pleasant View,UT was traveling westbound when she came upon traffic, braked, and lost control of her vehicle. Bolos' pickup struck the guardrail on the right shoulder and then rolled over, coming to rest on the dividing line between the two lanes of travel. Bolos was not injured in the crash, and alcohol is not thought to have been a factor. Both lanes of travel were blocked for approximatley one hour. The crash is still under investigation by Trooper J. Klitch, with assistance from Trooper Pattis, Boise Police officers, Ada County Paramedics, and Idaho Transportation Department Incident Response units.
UPDATE:
Both lanes of travel are now open westbound on I84 at milepost 55. More information will be relayed as it becomes available.

At this time, Troopers from the Idaho State Police, and Boise Police officers are responding to a one-vehicle crash westbound on I84 at milepost 55 between Gowen Rd and Broadway Ave. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, as both lanes are blocked and traffic is getting by the scene using the emergency shoulder. More information will be relayed as it becomes available.
