On June 7, 2010 at 7:10 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle rollover into the North Fork of the Salmon River, approximately ten miles from the Idaho-Montana border. Patti Krasovich, 65 of Hamilton, Montana, was southbound on US93 near mile marker 340.1 when for unknown reasons her 2001 Dodge Stratus went off the right shoulder. Krasovich traveled a few hundred feet before overcorrecting back onto the roadway, then overcorrected again to the right. The vehicle turned 180 degrees, went off the right shoulder, rolled and came to rest on its top in the river. Krasovich died at the scene. She was wearing her seatbelt. The crash is still under investigation by Corporal Hedges of the Idaho State Police, who was assisted by the Lemhi County Sheriff's Office, Lemhi County emergency crews, and the Idaho Transportation Department.
