At approximately 3:10 AM this morning, June 6, 2010, the Idaho State Police investigated a three-vehicle crash which occurred westbound on Interstate 84 at milepost 38, near Nampa, ID. Jeffrey Hopf, age 37, of Caldwell, ID was traveling westbound in a Ford F150 pickup when he struck a Volkswagen Golf driven by Jenna Spencer, age 25, of Sagle, ID. The impact caused Spencer's vehicle to crash into a Dodge pickup driven by Steven Martinez, age 31, of Nampa, ID. Hopf and Spencer were both transported to St. Alphonsus Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol is a factor in this crash. It appears all drivers of the vehicles were wearing their seatbelts. The crash is still under investigation by Trooper Beckner of the Idaho State Police.
