On Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 8:47 PM, Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle fatality crash at Centennial Way and Chicago Street, in Caldwell.

Josh Gamble, 23, of Wilder, was travelling northbound on Centennial Way in a 1986 GMC Jimmy when he struck a large puddle of water on the roadway, lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. Gamble was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Next of kin has been notified. The roadway was blocked for approximately 1.5 hours.

This crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
