Earlier today at 11:14 AM State Police Trooper stopped and arrested the driver of a vehicle fleeing from Oregon State Police. Information given to ISP was that the OSP pursuit began near Ontario. ISP Troopers and Payette County Sheriff's Deputies located the vehicle, a sedan with Washington license plates, eastbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 2. Troopers deployed traffic spikes and the disabled vehicle came to a stop west of Caldwell. Traffic was light at the time and no other vehicles were involved. The driver was identified as Tyree Johnson of Washington. Johnson was arrested and booked into the Canyon County Jail in Caldwell for Eluding a Police Officer, Fugitive to Idaho, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
