On July 5, 2019, Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle crash westbound Interstate 84 at mile marker 22, West of Caldwell.


Nicholas Hunley, 29, of Sacramento, CA, was driving a 2000 Toyota Tundra pulling a 1972 camp trailer. Hunley lost control in the right lane when the trailer started fish-tailing, crossed the left lane and struck the center barrier. The pickup overturned and came to rest on its side.


The westbound lanes were blocked for approximately two hours while crews worked to clear the scene.


This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
