On July 20, 2019 at approximately 5:54 p.m. a fatal crash occurred on the Seltice Way off ramp from I90 in Post Falls, ID. A silver 2006 Subaru Forester driven by Lucy Abdelrahman, 82, of Post Falls, ID was westbound on I90 at the 6 off ramp when she failed to stop at the stop sign. Abdelrahman struck Kevin C. Gonzales, 48, of Post Falls, ID head-on causing Abdelrahman to flip on to the roadside of Seltice Way. Abdelrahman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Gonzales and his passenger, Ursula F. Gonzales, 45, of Post Falls, ID were transported to Kootenai Health with non-life-threatening injuries. All three occupants were wearing their seatbelts. Abdelrahman's next of kin has been notified. The investigation continues.
