***Final Update***

On Friday, June 30, 2017, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle injury crash on westbound Interstate 84, near Hazelton.

William B. Mulligan, age 66, of Arroyo Seco, New Mexico was driving a 1998 Dodge Pickup pulling a 2017 Airstream Travel Trailer. While attempting to pass another vehicle, the Airstream started to sway. Mulligan lost control, and rolled both vehicles onto the right shoulder at milepost 196. Airbags were not deployed and both occupants were wearing seatbelts. Mulligan and his passenger, Janis R. Checchia, age 70 of Arroyo Seco, New Mexico, was transferred to St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center by ground ambulance.

The right lane was blocked for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

At this time, the Idaho State Police is investigating a crash westbound Interstate 84 at milepost 196 near the Hazelton exit. The right lane and shoulder are blocked. Officers will be having traffic merge to the left lane to get through the scene. More information will be released when available.
