On August 2nd 2020, at approximately 4:00 pm, the Idaho State Police responded to a two vehicle serious injury crash. The crash involved a blue 2004 Dodge pickup pulling a white and red boat, driven by Nathan L. Dreyer, 38, of Grangeville, and a black 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Charles D. Koepke, 57, of Othello, WA. The crash happened at the intersection of SH7 and A Road in Ahsahka, Idaho. Koepke was transported to Clearwater Hospital in Orofino, and then airlifted to St. Josephs Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. Koepke was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Dreyer and his two passengers, Theresa R. Dreyer, 36, of Grangeville, and Israel Fulton, of Taylorsville, UT, were not injured. This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

On August 2nd 2020, approximately 1600 hours, ISP responded to a two vehicle serious injury crash that involved a pickup pulling a boat and a motorcycle with one rider at the intersection of SH7 and A Road in Ahsahka, Idaho. The rider was transported to Clearwater Hospital in Orofino, Idaho, and then airlifted to St. Josephs Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho with serious and possibly life threatening injuries. The occupants of the pickup were not injured. The crash is still under investigation.
