On July 28, 2013, at approximately 2:06 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a three vehicle crash on Interstate 84, near Vista Ave., in Boise, ID.

Travelling east on Interstate 84 were David Nash, 27, of Vancouver, WA, in a 1996 Pontiac; Gary Anderson, 57, of Boise, ID, in a 1999 Jaguar XK; and Seth Weber, 39, of New Meadows, ID., in a 1995 Ford pickup, pulling a trailer. Nash's and Anderson's vehicles collided. Both drivers lost control of their vehicles. Anderson's vehicle then struck Weber's pickup. Nash's and Anderson's vehicle's came to rest on the median side after they struck the center concrete barrier. Weber's vehicle struck the concrete barrier on the right shoulder before stopping.

Nash was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID.

Three lanes of travel were blocked for approximately 50 minutes.

It is unknown if seatbelts were worn. The crash investigation is continuing.

All lanes of travel are open at this time. Crews are still working to clear the scene. Motorists are asked to use caution traveling through the area.

The Idaho State Police is currently investigating a multi-vehicle crash eastbound on Interstate 84 at milepost 53, near Vista. The #1 lane, #2 lane and #4 lane of travel is blocked at this time. Motorists should expect delays in the area.
