On Sunday, July 21, 2013, at approximately 4:39 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a fatality crash on State Highway 34 at milepost 106, in Caribou County.

Braxton Carter, 21, of Roy, UT, was driving west on State Highway 34 in a 2004 Ford F250, pulling a trailer carrying a 2008 Malibu Wakesetter boat. Carter was travelling with passenger Madison Jorgensen, 20, of Layton, UT.

Troy Twiss, 44, of Preston, ID , was travelling east on State Highway 34, on a 2008 Harley Davidson Motorcycle with passenger Jerusha Twiss, 44, also of Preston,ID.

Delbert Suter, 26, of Bedford, WY, was also travelling east, behind Twiss, on State Highway 34 with passenger Stacia Suter, 23, and their infant, in a 2012 Ford Focus.

The trailer, being pulled by Carter, fishtailed and first struck Twiss' motorcycle and then Suter's vehicle. The driver of the motorcycle was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID. The passenger of the motorcycle was transported by ground ambulance to Star Valley Medical Center in Afton, WY. Both the driver and passenger from the motorcycle succumbed to their injuries. Next of kin has been notified for both parties.

Delbert and Stacia Suter were transported by ground ambulance to Star Valley Medical Center in Afton, WY.

All parties in the Ford F250 and Ford Focus were wearing seatbelts. The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were both wearing helmets.
