Update: Injury Crash on I84 at 67

****Update****

On July 2, 2013 at 2:30pm, Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle injury crash eastbound on I84 at mile marker 67, near the East Boise Port of Entry.

Justin E. Mann, 34 of Butte, MT, was traveling in the center lane of eastbound I84 in a 1993 Toyota Camry. A semi truck and trailer was traveling in the far right lane approaching the end of the on ramp from the weigh station when Mann changed lanes to the left. Mann's vehicle struck a 2007 Toyota Corolla, traveling in the left lane being driven by Nancy E. Farnsworth, 54 of Boise. Upon impact Mann lost control of his vehicle, ran off the road, and struck an embankment. Mann was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

Farnsworth was wearing her seatbelt and was not transported.

The left lane of travel was blocked for a little over an hour while crews worked to remove the wreckage.

At this time Idaho State Police and emergency crews are responding to an injury crash Eastbound I84 at milepost 67, near the East Boise Port of Entry. The left lane is currently blocked near the crash scene. Traffic at this time is moving slow in the area and drivers are advised to use caution or avoid the area if possible.
