INCIDENT INFORMATION: Hill was traveling eastbound on US12 near Lenore when he drifted off the right shoulder of the road, overcorrected, drove left of center across the westbound lane. He crashed through the guardrail and drove into the river. He kicked out a window and swam to shore but was unable to save his two dogs.
