On January 14th, at approximately 3:15 pm, the Idaho State Police investigated a hit and run crash on westbound Interstate 90 at milepost 7. This is in the area of the SH41 junction in Post Falls.

A black or dark grey 1980-1990 Volvo with Washington plates was weaving through traffic and caused a 2008 Ford F350, driven by Allan Reimche, 72, of Spokane Valley, to go off the shoulder. The Volvo exited at milepost 7, fleeing the scene. The Volvo possibly has front end damage. According to a witness, the driver may be a young male in his 20s with a female passenger.

The Idaho State Police is asking for your assistance in identifying the driver of the Volvo in this crash. If you have any information or if you witnessed this crash, please call 208-209-8730 to obtain a witness statement.
