Update:

On July 1, 2020, at approximately 10:53 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated two-vehicle fatality crash southbound on US95 at milepost 145.5, 8 miles north of Council. Jonathan Yorgason, age 48 of Middleton, was traveling southbound on US 95 near E. Fork Rd. on a Yamaha motorcycle when he crashed in the road, separating from his motorcycle and coming to rest in the southbound lanes of travel. Jefferson Davis, age 28 of Council, was also southbound in a Nissan Frontier pickup. Davis struck Yorgason in the roadway. Yorgason succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Next of kin has been notified. The road was blocked in both directions for approximately four and a half hours. The crash remains under investigation.

Idaho State Police is investigating a crash on US95 near milepost 145, north of Council. Lanes of travel are blocked from milepost 140 to milepost 146. More information will be released as it becomes available.
