On July 12, 2020, at approximately 10:43 a.m., Idaho State Police responded to an injury crash eastbound Pine St. in Rathdrum, Idaho. Jonathan R. Chrysler, 23, of Coeur D Alene, was traveling eastbound on Pine St. in a 2000 Ford Taurus , when he failed to make a left curve at the intersection of Pine and Wright St striking a power pole on the passenger side of the vehicle coming to rest just east of the power pole in the grass. Brenda L. Norris, 45, of Coeur D Alene, was a passenger in the vehicle. Seat belts were in use. Both were transported to Kootenai Health. Impairment is suspected as a factor in the crash. The investigation continues.
