Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision which occurred on October 2, 2022, at 8:23 p.m., on SH25 at mile marker 3.5, in Jerome County.

A 2001 Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of SH25. A 1999 Buick Regal was traveling westbound on SH25. The vehicles collided head on.

The driver of the Toyota, a 48-year-old female from Twin Falls, was wearing her seatbelt and was transported by air ambulance to the hospital. The Buick was occupied by a 32-year-old female driver and a 69-year-old male passenger, both from Jerome. Both occupants were wearing their seatbelts and were transported by ground ambulance to the hospital.

Traffic on SH25 was blocked for approximately one and a half hours allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

Idaho State Police was assisted at the scene by the Jerome County Sheriff's Office, Jerome City Police Department, and the Idaho Transportation Department.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
