Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision which occurred on October 7, 2022, at 2:05 P.M., on I15 at mile marker 101, in Bingham County.

A 2011 Subaru Forester was traveling southbound on I15 in slow moving traffic due to a prior crash on I15. The driver changed lanes and struck two vehicles also traveling southbound, a 2019 Ram 1500 and a 2016 Buick Enclave, where it overturned.

The Subaru was driven by an 85-year-old man from Phoenix, AZ. He was wearing a seatbelt and was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital. The Ram was driven by a 21-year-old man from West Haven, UT, who was wearing a seatbelt. The Buick was occupied by a 45-year-old woman and three juvenile passengers from Blackfoot. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts.

The southbound left lane on I15 was blocked for approximately one and a half hours, allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
