Idaho State Police responded to a two vehicle crash on Old Winchester Grade on 8/24/2019 at 12:55pm. Roberta Stith, 76, from Dayton, WA, was traveling down the Winchester grade in a white 1996 Mazda Miata. Stith was traveling inside both lanes when she collided head on with Edward Pentzer, 62, of Culdesac, ID. Pentzer was driving a 2016 GMC Acadia and was traveling up the grade, around a corner. Stith was extricated and air lifted to St. Joseph Medical Center. Pentzer was wearing seatbelt, unknown on Stith. The road was blocked for approximately 3 hours.
