***Update 2***

On August 29, 2019, at 12:08 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a motorcycle fatality crash eastbound on Interstate 84 at milepost 67, east of Boise.

Douglas Renaud, 63, of Caldwell, ID, was driving eastbound on Interstate 84 on a 2006 Honda GL1800 motorcycle. Jacqueline Cramer, 56, of Emmett, ID, was a passenger on the back of Renaud's motorcycle. Douglas left the roadway on the median side and overturned.

Cramer succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash. Renaud was transported by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID, where he succumbed to his injuries. Notification to family has been made.

Renaud and Cramer were both wearing helmets. The eastbound left lane of Interstate 84 was blocked for approximately two and a half hours.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
