District 2 Extra Patrols / Back To School

With schools starting back in session, the Idaho State Police and local law enforcement agencies will be partnering together focusing on hazardous driving behaviors. Extra patrols will be paid through the Idaho Transportation Department Office of Highway Safety (OHS) focusing on drivers who are driving distracted (such as texting and driving), driving aggressively and occupants not wearing seat belts. The goal is to reduce crashes and make Idaho roadways safe for everyone to travel.
