On Friday, July 7, 2011, at approximately 6:59pm, the Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle minor injury crash on State Highway 31 at milepost 14, near the Pine Creek Pass. Diane Harlow, 40 from Victor, was travelling northbound on SH31 in a 1996 Chevy 2 door passenger car. For unknown reasons, Harlow left the roadway, drove across the shoulder, and down a 50 foot embankment. The vehicle came to rest approximately 125 feet from the roadway. Harlow was unable to get out of the vehicle, so extrication was used. Harlow was transported by ground ambulance to the Teton County Hospital with minor injuries. There was a nine year child in the vehicle, but he was not injured. All occupants involved were wearing seatbelts. Neither road nor weather conditions were a factor. There was no road blockage.

This crash is still under investigation by Trooper Green. He was assisted by the Teton County Sheriff's Office, the Teton County Search and Rescue, the Teton County Fire Department, and Teton County EMS.
