***UPDATE***

On Sunday, March 1, 2015, at approximately 3:33 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury crash on Interstate 84 at the milepost 173 off ramp, near Twin Falls, in Jerome County.

A 2003 Chevrolet Blazer was being driven eastbound on Interstate 84. The driver failed to negotiate the curve at exit 173, drove off the roadway, overcorrected, and came back onto the road. The vehicle overturned on the right shoulder, ejecting both occupants. The vehicle then caught on fire.

Neither occupants were wearing seatbelts and both sustained serious injuries.

The roadway was partially blocked for approximately 3.5 hours.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

Names of the driver and passenger are not being released at this time. An update will be issued when further information becomes available.
