On Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 5:54 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash, northbound Interstate 15 at milepost 37, near Arimo.

Thomas Mounts, 34, of Rexburg, was traveling northbound on Interstate 15 in a 2007 International United Parcel Service tractor pulling three trailers when he drifted off the left shoulder. Mounts tried come back onto the road, lost control of the vehicle and overturned in the median, partially blocking the northbound left lane.

Mounts was wearing his seat belt and was not injured. Mounts was cited for failure to maintain lane.

The left northbound lane is currently blocked and will remain so for most of the day while crews work to clear the wreckage. The right northbound lane is open for traffic.

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
