On March 27,2015 at approximately 5:45 pm, Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle property damage crash southbound Interstate 15 at milepost 118, near Idaho Falls. Aurelian Muntean, 46, out of Dickinson, North Dakota, was traveling south in a 2015 Western commercial vehicle with a single trailer. Muntean attempted to enter the interstate on the onramp and struck the guardrail with his trailer. The southbound onramp was blocked for two and a half hours. The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
