********UPDATE*********

On March 12, 2014, at approximately 5:24 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a three-vehicle injury crash on US91 at 1600 East, just south of Preston. Tyona Carter, 17, of Preston, was driving southbound on US91 in a 2001 Honda Accord. She attempted to cross US91, failing to see a 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser driven by Aimee Peters, 36, of Preston. Carter struck the rear end of Peter's vehicle, causing Peters to lose control and cross four lanes of travel, coming to rest in the northbound lanes. Peters was then struck by a 2012 Honda Civic, driven by Steven Schvaneveldt, 40, of Preston.

All three drivers were transported by ground ambulance to Franklin County Medical Center. All were wearing seatbelts.

Idaho State Police are currently investigating a three-vehicle injury crash on US91 at 1600 East, just south of Preston. Traffic has been reduced to two lanes of travel but is currently moving in both directions at this time.
