On Saturday, March 22, 2014 at approximately 2:08 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle property damage crash on US Highway 20 at milepost 15, just west of Parma. Debbie Gilligan, 54, of Parma was traveling west in a 2012 Toyota Tacoma when she drifted out of her lane, across the center line, and struck the rear axle of a 2014 Freightliner driven by Jason Ames, 42, of Sparks, Nevada.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. The eastbound lane of US Highway 20 was blocked for approximately 2 and a half hours while crews cleared the crash scene. This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
