Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 11:33 p.m., on Sunday, January 1, 2023, on westbound I-84 near milepost 57 in Ada County.

A 32-year-old female of Heyburn was driving a Mitsubishi Outlander westbound on I-84 when she failed to maintain her lane, drove off the right shoulder, hit a sign, and the vehicle rolled coming to rest on its top. The driver and her 18-year-old male passenger of Burley walked to a local establishment to call for help.

The female was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance. She was not wearing a seat-belt.

The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
