Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 3:41 p.m., on Saturday, December 31, 2022, on westbound I-84 near milepost 20.5, in Canyon County.

A 25-year-old female of Boise was driving a Dodge Neon eastbound on I-84. A 27-year-old male of Nampa was driving a Nissan Altima westbound on I-84. The driver of the Dodge lost control, crossed through the median and impacted the Nissan.

Both drivers and a 25-year-old male passenger from the Dodge were transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The right lane was blocked for approximately three hours, while crews worked to clear the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
