Idaho State Police are investigating a crash that occurred at 7:33 a.m., on September 3, 2022, on US20-26 at milepost 247, in Butte County.

A Ford F150 pickup was travelling eastbound on US20-26, when it crossed over the center line and struck a Chevrolet Astro van. The Ford F150 was driven by a 28 year-old male from Rigby. The driver of the Astro van was a 53 year-old male from Mackay. Both drivers were transported via ground ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The road was blocked for approximately four and a half hours.

The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police with assistance from the Butte County Sheriff's office, Lost River Ambulance Service, and the Idaho Transportation Department.
