Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision which occurred at 5:30 P.M. on SH51 at mile marker 39.5 in Owyhee County.

A 42-year-old man from Harrisburg, PA, was driving a 2011 Ford F350 towing a fifth wheel trailer southbound on SH51. He drove off the road where the truck and trailer rolled down an embankment. The passenger, a 70-year-old man from Coolidge, AZ, was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital. Each occupant was wearing a seatbelt.

Traffic on SH51 was blocked for approximately four hours, allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
