Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision that occurred on 05/14/2022 at 7:33 P.M. in Canyon County.

A 29-year-old man from Melba, with a 25-year-old female passenger, was driving a Ford F250 and travelling eastbound on Bowmont Road. A 34-year-old male from Arco, with a 28-year-old female passenger, was driving a Ford Explorer, and travelling northbound on Southside Boulevard.

The driver of the Ford F250 appears to have failed to yield at a stop sign and the vehicles collided.

The driver of the Ford F250 and passenger were not wearing seatbelts, the driver was not transported, however the passenger was transported to the hospital by ground ambulance. The driver and passenger of the Ford Explorer were wearing seatbelts and the driver was transported to the hospital by air ambulance and the passenger of the Ford Explorer was transported to the hospital by ground ambulance.

The intersection was blocked for approximately four hours.

This crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
