On July 23, 2014 at 1 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle injury crash westbound on I84 at mile marker 64.2, near the Blacks Creek Exit.

Lacey Oneida, 32 of Shoshone, was traveling westbound on I84 when a small item came out of the bed of a pickup causing several vehicles to swerve. Oneida overcorrected, was unable to regain control of her vehicle and drove onto the median shoulder where the 2002 Saturn SD rolled once coming to rest on its wheels.

Oneida and her passenger, Kendra Perez, 32 of Shoshone, were not wearing their seatbelts and were both transported by ground ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.
