****Update****

On May 17, 2014 at 10:02am Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle injury crash southbound on I15 at mile marker 67, near the south 5th Avenue exit.

Clair E. Averill, 72 of Idaho Falls was traveling southbound on I15 in a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer. Averill drifted off the left shoulder of the road and overcorrected. The vehicle rolled multiple times coming to rest in the median.

Averill and his passenger Gayle L. Averill, 72 also of Idaho Falls, were both transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. They were both wearing their seatbelts.
Traffic was reduced to one lane for about an hour while crews worked to remove the wreckage.

The Idaho State Police is currently investigating a one-vehicle rollover crash southbound on Interstate 15 near the South 5th Ave exit, milepost 67. Traffic is congested and officers are asking motorists to find an alternate route until the crash is cleared.
