Crash sends three to hospital

On Sunday, March 27, 2011, at approximately 2:30 am the Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle injury crash westbound on Interstate 84 at mile post 67, approximately one mile east of the East Boise Port of Entry. Ava Taylor, 21 of Seattle, Washington, was traveling westbound in her 2000 Honda Accord when she came across a slick spot in the road. Taylor lost control of the vehicle and went into the median where the vehicle rolled once and came to rest on its top. Taylor and two of her passengers, Katherine Kirkness, 22 of Lake Forest Park, Washington, and Angelina Miller, 22 of Washington, were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise where they were treated and released for their injuries. Taylor's third passenger, Claire Woodward, 21 of Shoreline, Washington, was also taken by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center where she is being monitored for non life threatening injuries sustained in the crash. Traffic was blocked for a short time as crews worked at the scene and the vehicle was removed.

This crash is under investigation by Trooper Sharp of the Idaho State Police with assistance from Corporal Tulleners, Trooper West and Ada County EMS.
