On Wednesday , March 9, 2011, at 6:07 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle crash on State Highway 55 at milepost 68, north of Horseshoe Bend. Cheri Tambini, 62 from Horseshoe Bend, was travelling south bound in a GMC Envoy . She lost control of her vehicle, drove left of center and went off the left shoulder striking a rock wall. The vehicle overturned and blocked the south bound lane. Tambini was treated and released with non life threatening injuries. Icy roads were a factor in this crash and a seatbelt was worn. This crash remains under investigation by Cpl. D. Anthony.
