ITD, ISP troopers partnered to stop impaired driving
March 11,2011 to March 21, 2011
The Idaho Transportation Department partnered with the Idaho State Police and other law enforcement agencies across Idaho to make highways safer by funding high visibility impaired driving enforcement patrols March 11 � March 21.

During this campaign, Region 4 Idaho State Police troopers focused on enforcement of impaired driving and seatbelt violations. Here is a summary of the results:

Total Contacts - 1121
DUI Arrests - 11
Seat Belt / Child Restraint Citations - 98
Fugitives Apprehended - 8
Suspended Driver Licenses - 30
Uninsured Motorists - 82
Speeding Citations -376
Reckless Driving Citations - 5
Drug Arrests - 9
Underage Alcohol Arrests - 1
Other Various Contacts - 45
