Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision which occurred on Wednesday, December 6th, at approximately 7:30 AM, on Madison Road, just north of Linden Road, in Canyon County.

A 34-year-old male, of Boise, was travelling northbound on Madison Road in a 2000 Honda Accord. The Honda left the right shoulder of the roadway and crashed into a canal.

The driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.

Traffic on Madison Road was blocked for approximately 3 hours, allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
