The Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, on US20 at Don Lane, in Canyon County.

A female driver, 29, of Caldwell, was travelling westbound on US20 in a Chevrolet passenger car. A female driver, 67, of Bandon, Oregon, was travelling eastbound in a Chrysler passenger car. The vehicles collided head-on.

The driver of the Chrysler succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance.

The driver of the Chrysler was wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the Chevrolet was not.

Both lanes of US20 were blocked for approximately 2.5 hours.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
