Idaho State Police are investigating a vehicle collision that occurred Friday, March 3rd, 2023, at approximately 8:00 p.m., on Idaho Street at the intersection of 15th Avenue in Post Falls, Kootenai County, Idaho.

A Dodge Caravan, driven by a 27-year-old male from Post Falls, Idaho, was traveling southbound on Idaho Street, approaching the intersection of 15th Avenue. A 31-year-old male pedestrian from Post Falls, Idaho, was traveling eastbound on 15th Avenue, crossed onto Idaho Street, and was impacted by the Dodge Caravan. The male was transpoted to a local hospital via ground ambulance. The pedestrian's next of kin were notified.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

Traffic on southbound Idaho Street and 15th Avenue intersection were blocked for approximately 3-hours.
