On February 4, 2020 at approximately 6:10 p.m., the Idaho State Police responded to a multiple vehicle crash on westbound I-90 at milepost 4.5, in Post Falls. A blue 2005 Subaru Impreza, driven by a juvenile, was traveling westbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle, struck the jersey barrier on the right side near the Spokane street onramp and was stopped on the right hand side of the roadway. The juvenile was outside of the Subaru when the vehicle was struck by a white 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Brice M. Munsey, 28, of Post Falls, who was entering westbound I90 from the Spokane street onramp. The juvenile was struck and was thrown from the roadway. A 2004 Ford Excursion, driven by Rebecka A. Williams, 43, of Spokane, WA, was traveling westbound and swerved to avoid the collision, striking a delineator post. Williams was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, Munsey was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The juvenile was transported by ambulance to Kootenai Medical Center. The roadway was blocked for approximately 2 and a half hours. The investigation is ongoing.
