On Thursday, July 12, 2018, at approximately 10:00 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle crash eastbound I84 at milepost 31, in Caldwell.

Stephen Coombe, 65, of Waterford, Ontario was driving a 2015 Freightliner semi pulling two trailers when the vehicle veered off the right shoulder and overturned. Coombe was wearing a seatbelt.

The eastbound lanes were blocked for approximately 2.5 hours.

At this time, the Idaho State Police is investigating a semi rollover eastbound on I84 at milepost 30, near the city limits of Caldwell. Officers are requesting motorists avoid the area at this time if possible due to the crash and responding units. More information will be relayed as it becomes available
