****FINAL Update****

On March 13, 2015, at approximately 3:14 P.M., Idaho State Police responded to a commercial vehicle fire, eastbound on Interstate 84 at milepost 64, near Black's Creek Road, in Ada County.

Willy O. Benjamin, 55, of Gordon, GA, was driving a Kenworth tractor pulling a Reitnouer trailer when the cab caught on fire. Benjamin drove the vehicle onto the right shoulder of the roadway.

The eastbound lanes of travel were closed for approximately 45 minutes.

This incident is under investigation by Boise City Fire Department.

All lanes of traffic are open.

Eastbound I84 at Black's Creek is now partially open. Driver's are advised to use caution.

Idaho State Police is on scene of a semi truck that is on fire eastbound on I84 at mile marker 64, Black's Creek exit.

At this time the both eastbound lanes are blocked. Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
