Idaho State Police is investigating a crash that occurred at 200 N on US Highway 93, in Jerome County, north of Interstate 84.

An 18 year-old male from Jerome, driving a 2011 GMC Sierra pickup was attempting to make a left-hand turn from the northbound lane of US 93 onto westbound 200 North. A 47 year-old male from Jerome was driving southbound in a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt. The driver of the GMC failed to yield the right-of-way to the Chevrolet. The vehicles collided at the intersection of US 93 and 200 North.

Neither of the drivers were wearing seatbelts. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported by air ambulance to an area hospital. Also in the Chevrolet were two male passengers, both from Twin Falls. The passengers of the Chevrolet were wearing seatbelts, and were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
