Idaho State Police is investigating a fatal vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 6:50 P.M., on December 22nd, on Bogus Basin Road at milepost 9.5 in Ada County.

A 94-year-old male from Eagle, ID, was driving a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck northbound on Bogus Basin Rd. The vehicle left the roadway, overturned, and came to rest approximately 300 feet down a ravine.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt. He succumbed to injuries at the scene. Idaho State Police worked with the Ada County Sheriff's Office and the Boise County Coroner on next of kin notification.

Bogus Basin Road was blocked for approximately five hours.

The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
