Idaho State Police are investigating a vehicle collision that occurred at 1:27 PM at US12 at Arrow Bridge in Nez Perce County.

The driver of a Mazda 3 was travelling westbound went over the center line and collided with a White Toyota pickup that was travelling eastbound.

The Mazda was occupied by a 32-year-old male driver, from Lenore, Idaho. The Toyota was occupied by a 68-year-old male driver, from Lewiston, Id. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. The 32-year-old-male was taken to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance.


** Correction to earlier press release that incorrectly stated Highway 55 ** Traffic on US Highway 12 was blocked in both directions for approximately 120 minutes to allow emergency responders to assist those involved.


This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
