Idaho State Police are investigating a vehicle collision that occurred at 08:13 at US95 milepost 340.9 in Latah County.

The driver of a Toyota Camry was travelling southbound on US95 near milepost 340, when they went left of center and collided with a Gold Chrysler Town and County.

The Camry was occupied by an 87-year-old male driver and a 89-year-old female passenger, both from Coeur d?Alene, Idaho. The driver was wearing a seat belt. The Chrysler was occupied by a 42-year-old male driver, from Lewiston, Idaho. The driver of the Chrysler was taken to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance. The driver and the passenger of the Camry deceased on scene.

Next of kin has been notified.

Traffic on Highway 95 was blocked in both directions for approximately three hours to allow emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
