Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle collision that occurred at 9:36 P.M., on November 5, 2021, in Canyon County, Idaho.

The driver of a red Ford F-150, a 28-year-old man from Meridian, was traveling eastbound on Cherry Lane when he entered a closed section of the roadway and struck a large piece of equipment. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and succumbed to his injures at the scene.

The Idaho State Police is working with the Canyon County Coroner on notification of next of kin.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
