-----------------------------------------------------------

Troopers with the Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle rollover that continues to block traffic on U.S. 95 in Coeur d'Alene.

The rollover was reported at approximately 12:14 p.m. Investigating Troopers say the driver of a trailer hauling garbage was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90 and failed to negotiate the curve at the off-ramp onto southbound U.S. 95. The load shifted and the truck and trailer overturned.

The driver of the truck, a 59-year-old man from Athol was wearing a seat belt. He was treated and released from a nearby medical facility. The driver was cited for inattentive driving, a misdemeanor.

Traffic continues to be blocked on U.S. 95 at this time as crews work to clear the roadway.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
