Update: Information provided to ISP by medical personnel this morning indicates that, at this time, it appears all involved in yesterday's crash on US 95 near Homedale will recover from their injuries. All remain hospitalized, including the two teens, reported to be from Canyon County, and the couple from Wilder.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

May 20, 2021 - On Thursday, May 20, 2021, at approximately 11:14 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a crash southbound on US-95 near milepost 35.5, just north of Homedale.

A juvenile was driving a 2013 Nissan Altima southbound on US-95. Gerald A. Brown, 74, of Wilder, ID was driving a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, northbound on US-95. The juvenile failed to negotiate a curve, crossed left of center, hitting Brown head-on.

The juvenile driver was transported by ground ambulance and a juvenile passenger was transported by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Gerald Brown and his passenger Pamela J. Brown, 67, of Wilder, were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

The juveniles were not wearing seatbelts. Gerald and Pamela Brown were wearing seatbelts.

All lanes of US-95 were blocked for approximately two and a half hours.
